Safeguarding in education
Safeguarding children in education is a key area of focus. Telford & Wrekin Council provides an education safeguarding service for schools in Telford and Wrekin, other educational providers, academies and schools in other local authority areas. This service includes both group and bespoke training and consultancy. By education, this refers to any child who is in nursery, infant, junior, primary or secondary schools or colleges.
At Telford & Wrekin Council, Telford Education Services work alongside schools to ensure that they are both supported and compliant with all aspects of safeguarding.
